The Krias HaTorah Project from Vdabkenu was launched to fill a specific need in our community. Many people are blessed with a nice voice and would like to lein for the tzibbur but lack understanding of the proper trop and pronunciation. This project was designed to help change that by providing professional recordings of the Kriah so that people would be able to stand before the Bima with confidence. The project was produced in a state-of-the-art studio, recorded by a world-class Ba'al Koreh, and mixed/mastered to perfection.

R' Dovid Elefant is an accomplished Shliach Tzibur and Ba'al Kriah with many years of experience. He is one of the Yomim Noraim chazzanim of the Yeshivas Mir Yerushalayim and the long-time Baal Kriah of Rav Yitzchok Berkovitz Shlita's Kehilla. He is also a sought-after Bar Mitzvah teacher and has trained many bar mitzvah bachurim how to lain in preparation for their Bar Mitzvah. R' Dovid was taught to lain by his grandfather, R' Avrohom Lowenthal, and received voice training from the renowned Nosson Glick. In addition to attention to detail, dikduk and vocal talent, R' Dovid's davening and laining style is clear, concise and thorough. All who listen will be able to follow along and enhance their skills with emotion and passion, helping the tzibbur experience the meaning of the words as they are being sent heavenward.
